Our Koa humidor is made with curly Koa from the Big Island. The lid fits firmly because of special tongue-and-groove closure. Mahogany splines reinforce the joints and add a decorative accent to the Koa box. Our humidor is lined with Spanish cedar, the traditional wood used in all premium humidors. Spanish cedar holds more moisture than most woods. It imparts a fragrant aroma to cigars, and it repels tobacco beetles. The humidifying element uses distilled water and is passive -- requiring no electricity or batteries. Our humidor is made by local Honolulu craftsman, exclusively for us, in his studio near our Furniture Workshop.
