Our Koa sunglasses are made with wood from our private reserve of Koa. The curved shape of the frames contours to the adult head for a perfect, natural fit. The lenses are made with a leading edge, anti-glare technology that eliminates the nasty reflective glare of the bright Hawaiian sun. Even better, these patented lenses protect your eyes by cutting out the harmful UV rays. The hinges are all Swiss-made, because these are the highest quality hinges available today.

As with any wood, there will be light variations in color and grain pattern with every pair of our Koa sunglasses. That’s what makes each pair special and unique. You are guaranteed to have a hand-crafted pair of wood sunglasses made in America, not some off shore factory.

Our partner Chris Erven named this modern sunglasses style after one worn by the famed Italian film director Federico Fellini, who blended fantasy with neo-realism, and is known for his film Oscar-winning film, Amarcord.
