Our Koa Eternity Rings are the perfect symbol of commitment and love. They are made with our own private stock of Koa wood grown on the Big Island of Hawaii. Each ring is crafted with a band of super-hard tungsten.
Our Koa Eternity rings are for men and women. They are perfect for a commitment ceremony, wedding bands, and anniversary gifts.
Tungsten is the superior metal for rings because it is extremely hard and never scratches. Tungsten is 4x harder than titanium and 10x harder than 18K gold. Tungsten measures 8-9 on the Mohs hardness scale. Diamonds are the hardest, measuring 10 on the Mohs scale. Due to its extreme hardness, our Koa Tungsten rings will hold their shape and shine longer than any other metal ring on the market. Each of our Tungsten bands is individually hand-crafted using diamond abrasives and polycrystalline diamond tooling.
Koa is the wood of the monarchs and ali'i of Hawaii. Today, this stunning wood is highly prized for its strength and beauty. Koa has a deep rich, color and complex grain pattern. The most highly sought-after Koa has a fluttering "curl" that looks like undulating waves on the surface of the wood. Koa is indigenous to Hawaii. Martin & MacArthur buys more curly Koa than anyone else in the world.
