This is a reproduction of an ancient Hawaiian weapon, Lima Lei-o-mano, or Knuckle Duster. Hawaiian warriors used the Knuckle Duster as a slashing weapon for close combat with enemies. Sharks teeth were stitched to the sides of the weapon to grip and tear at the flesh of the enemy. Highly effective. Painful. Debilitating. This knuckle duster with sharks teeth was made in traditional Hawaiian methods by master craftsman on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
The craftsmen of Martin & MacArthur framed this weapon in solid Koa with velvet lining.
