Hawaiian Koa Paddles
The Hawaiian Koa paddle is a symbol of discovery and exploration. The warriors of King Kamehameha, the Great, created rowing paddles from Koa wood grown on Hawaii Island. They also created their canoes from large Koa tree trunks. The warriors used these canoes and paddles to travel up to the other Hawaiian Islands to unite the chain under one ruler. Today, local Hawaii craftsmen make these Koa paddles for us, in the same shapes used by ancient Hawaiian warriors. These paddles come on many different sizes including 24", 36", and 60". We also feature smaller table top paddles that are perfect to place on desks or give as awards. All paddles can be engraved. Be sure to pick up the appropriate floor-standing or wall-mount paddle holders.
