With over six years of conception and refinement, master veneer craftsman Paul Schurch creates dresses and gowns made with real wood. The Koa Mini-Dress is made with Martin & MacArthur’s private stock of dark, curly Koa. None better.
The veneer is cut into tiny pieces and applied in shingled layers onto a sheer rayon cloth. The result is a dress that is soft and supple, yet strong enough not to crack or buckle with body movement.
The Koa Mini-Dress stretches with a wooden hinging system and stretchable fabric to accommodate a size 4 to 7. Paul’s innovative gold-plated clasp in the back of the dress allows easy changing. The entire Koa Mini-Dress weighs only 1 lb., 6 oz.
Koa Dresses can be specially made in varying length to accommodate any body size or frame. Simple body measurements are all that is needed to create a Koa dress perfectly fitting for you.
