Koa Petro Coaster - Hoe Wa'a

Our Petroglyph Coasters are made with Koa wood grown harvested from the Island of Hawaii. Each Koa coaster is engraved with different Ancient Hawaiian petroglyph imagery. These earliest known images transport one to pre-contact Hawaii, and the vibrant culture of the era.

All of our Koa coasters and trivets are made with Koa wood panels on front and back, over a hardboard underlay. We have specifically engineered our coasters and trivets with this process in order to stabilize the wood during use. Without the hardboard underlay, the coaster or trivet would be prone to cracking and chipping.
