Cecilia Chenault is a maui based artist. She began painting in 1978 at a very young age and trained with several national renowned artists. Chenault’s goal is to compose a vision of beauty, while also delighting in the journey.
“I like to paint light and the way it falls on a subject. My paintings are about pleasing the eye and engaging the viewer. I am aware of the traditional craftsmanship I have attained through my years of study but I also like to explore a variety of techniques and mediums”.
She is a Member of the American Impressionist Society, American Society of Marine Artists and American Women Artists.
