Hawaii artist Michael Cover draws inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding his home in Kona, HI. Michael loves to use natural-edge Koa with flowing, soft curves. He waits for natural pieces of Koa wood to tell him what stained glass subject to create.

Prior to becoming a stained glass artist, Michael was a police officer for Ontario, CA for 24 years. He moved to Hawaii with his wife because of his love for scuba diving.

Michael enjoys creating stained glass that flows “outside the frame.” He says that Koa and glass are a natural pairing.
