Born and raised in Hawaii, Mark Brown has loved art as far back as when he was a kid growing up in Kalihi. Mark dabbled in everything from calligraphy
to silk-screening. But, Mark’s true passion is plein air (outdoor) painting. Mark honed his own unique style of impressionist landscape painting with vivid Hawaiian colors blended together in natural harmony.

Mark captures the quiet, unassuming landscapes of Hawaii and brings them to life with his radiant palette of colors. Mark is also a dedicated teacher of art, supporting creative young minds to find their own ways of expression.
