Martin & MacArthur, the premier Koa furniture maker of Hawaii, recently introduced a new collection of fine Koa furniture, inspired by the grand dame of Hawaiian resorts, the Moana Surfrider.
The company’s craftsmen designed its new Moana Collection to be classic, timeless and simple, with finely detailed lines. This new Koa furniture collection is entirely made in Hawaii, strengthening the company’s heritage as the only fine furniture maker in the entire State.
The new collection includes a bed frame with a gently contoured headboard, showing off beautiful, highly figured curly Koa. The gentle slope of the headboard is carried through in all the furniture pieces which include nightstands; a dresser; a dining table; dining chairs with and without arms; and a sideboard buffet.
The bed can be made in all sizes. Customers can special order any of these furniture pieces with the Koa wood they select from the company’s vast private stock of Koa.
Martin & MacArthur is the largest purchaser of Koa in the world. Koa wood grows only in Hawaii and is actively reforested by companies like Martin & MacArthur to insure that there will be an abundance of Koa for future generations.
Besides fine Koa furniture, Martin & MacArthur is famous for its solid Koa watches, classic wood watches, Koa rings, Koa jewelry and more.
