Maui craftsman Bill Coulter designs and crafts model Hawaiian canoes using the finest Koa, Ebony, and Purpleheart. Bill has a longstanding passion for the sleek, defined shape of the ancient Polynesian canoes. He is an avid student of these early Polynesian voyagers and their sojourns. Bill is meticulous in the detail of his scale model canoes including hand-tied lashings for authenticity.
