Glass "Hanau" Medium by Samson Low

Hawaii artist Samson Low believes "working with molten glass is a well-choreographed dance with fire."

As a native Hawaiian he was surrounded by the culture throughout his life. Samson received formal training in metal fabrication, woodworking, and jewelry design while pursing an Art Studio degree from the University of Hawaii.

Over time Samson's cultural upbringing began to show itself in his passion for molten glass. Samson's work continues to evolve with his cultural knowlege inspiring new pieces that perpetuate those mo'olelo (stories) for others to see.
