”I created this piece for Surfrider Foundation Oahu’s 2015 John Kelly Environmental Awards held in Waimea Valley each year. This year’s theme of sacred places inspired me to paint the Moli’i Fishpond located on the east side of Oahu. Moli’i is one of only 4 original fishponds left on Oahu and is thought to be here from the earliest Hawaiian settlements on Oahu. It is such a beautiful and serene area and I am so happy to work with organizations around the world that fight to protect these sacred places for future generations to enjoy!" - H. Brown

All Giclées are printed on certified poly-cotton canvas using archival pigmented inks, gallery wrapped, signed and numbered, and include a certificate of authenticity (COA).
Each artist proof (AP) canvas is hand-highlighted by the artist to add a special luster and texture to the print similar to that on Heather Brown’s original painting.
